What is the trip about?

Students and ESN members in Helsinki and Gdańsk are invited to join friends in Helsinki for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! The trip is created by students, for students to be fun, social, and affordable!

Who will participate in the trip?

Students and members from ESN Gdańsk and ESN Helsinki (ESN Uni Helsinki, ESN Haaga-Helia, ESN Metropolia, ESN Laureamko, ESN Aalto) typically join the trips as well as other exchange students, international degree students, and local degree students from the Helsinki and surrounding region.

How much does it cost?

The super early bird base trip starts with the exclusive promo code for ESN* members. This price is specifically for those with codes. Cannot be combined with other promo codes or offers. Limited and exclusive promo codes can be found in your group chats and internal channels.

What activities will be included?

Social activities and prizes on the bus as well. Visits in Helsinki can be arrange too with enough notice beforehand. Additional activities can be found in the Add-ons sections.

How do I get to Helsinki?

We suggest booking a flight from Gdańsk to Turku if you aren't in Helsinki already! From Turku you can take an Onnibus or VR Train to Helsinki! Round trip for both flight and bus together, at the time of writing, is less than 50€! 😱

Can I visit Helsinki before/after the trip?

Yes, with the cheap travel to Helsinki, you should visit and explore Helsinki for a day or two before the trip starts! We can help you find cheap accommodation! We can plan a larger event if you stay in Helsinki one or two days after the trip.

Can other ESN Sections or Students join?

Yes! We welcome ESN sections and other student organisations to join. Feel free to contact us to receive your discount codes!

*We are not officially affiliated with Erasmus Student Network. The trips were created by previous board members of ESN Uni Helsinki and were designed as ESN Uni Helsinki official trips. However, with new board members, when ESN Uni Helsinki decided to partner with other companies, these trips were continued separately due to student demand and a new small student-founded company was born: Lapland Travels!

Since then, we have partnered at some point with CISSI, Matrix ry, Biosfääri ry, Integralis ry, ESN Gdańsk, and have kept our offers open to ESN Uni Helsinki members, University of Helsinki students and more!

Can I travel solo or join other trip dates?

Yes! While we give the suggestion for your trips. You are welcome to book the trip dates that fit you best. Everyone is there for a social time and to have an amazing adventure, so whether you're travelling solo or with a group, it will be an amazing time!
